*The law requires a patient has a current client-patient relationship ( yearly exam) to refill medications for chronic conditions   

*DEA requires an exam every 1-6 months for control medication depending on drug classification

OUTSIDE PHARMACY INFORMATION 

We would like to update you on a policy change regarding outside pharmacy prescriptions. Unfortunately, we were experiencing a number of issues receiving and returning faxes/emails to various outside pharmacies. Despite numerous attempts to resolve these issues, we were still seeing delays and even missing prescription requests. It is very important to us that there are no interruptions in your pet's prescription medications. In an effort to prevent any further complications, we have made some changes to how we will be handling all future outside prescription requests. 

We are no longer accepting any faxed/emailed requests for any prescriptions from an outside pharmacy. Any prescriptions that you request be filled at an outside pharmacy will require a handwritten signature by your veterinarian and must be picked up in person. Electronic signatures and emailed prescriptions are not available. If you prefer your prescription be mailed to your home address, we can do that. Please note, once sent, we do not have any control over the time it takes to receive mailed prescriptions and this may result in additional delays.  In order to process an outside pharmacy request, we will need you to sign a quick online waiver prior to receiving the prescriptions.
