Dr. Holly Black DVM, MPH joined the Midvalley Team in August of 2026.
She grew up in Illinois, then went to University of South Dakota for undergrad and finished up at the University of Illinois for vet school
That wasn't enough learning! She also completed a Master of public health degree during vet school through the University of Minnesota.
Dr. Black has a special interest in ticks and mosquito-borne disease and has spent many years as a tick researcher. She is also passionate about preventive health care and nutrition.
Outside of vet med she enjoys long distance running, video games, spoiling her two cats, and DIY projects.
